Biography

Roy O. Stevens, 89, passed away on Monday afternoon March 1, 2010 at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. On September 18, 1920 he was born in Spring Garden, Missouri to the late Ben and Cle (Robertson) Stevens. On March 17, 1982 he was married in Marshall, Missouri to Patricia(McCallum) Stevens who survives of the home.

Two Grandchildren Katie VandenBerg of Morton, Illinois and Emily Jacob Morton, Illinois

Two Nieces Joyce Foraker of Colburn, Colorado and Linda Reed of Mesa, Arizona

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Ruth (Million) Stevens, by three sisters, and two brothers.

Roy served in the United States Marine Corp. He was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, Missouri.

Visitation will be held on Friday March 5, 2010 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, Missouri, with a Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM at the Chapel Grove Cemetery in Clark, Missouri.
