Richard B. “Rick” Schneider, 82 of Rocky Mount, Missouri passed away Thursday evening March 1, 2012 at his home in Rocky Mount, Missouri. On September 22, 1929 he was born in St. Louis, Missouri the son of the late Albert and Helen (Palmer) Schneider. On December 24, 1977 he was joined in marriage in St. Louis County, Missouri to Carole (Duckworth) Schneider who survives of the home.

Richard was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, MO; an honorary lifetime member of the Rocky Mount AMVETS Post #108. He was an avid fisherman and loved being outdoors. He was a retired Construction Superintendent in St. Louis, MO. He was a friend to many.
Visitation will be on Monday March 5, 2012 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with a Prayer Service to be prayed at 7:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday March 6, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, MO with Msgr. Donald Lammers officiating. Interment will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery in Eldon, MO.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
