Biography

Jeremiah “Jeremy” Kempker, 30 of Russellville, Missouri passed away Thursday morning April 12, 2012 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. On October 10, 1981 he was born in Jefferson City, Missouri to Robert Kempker and the late Debra Jean “Morris” Kempker.

Survivors include,

Parents, Bob & Nancy Kempker of Eugene, MO

Sisters & Brothers in law, Rachael & Jake Schmitz of Jefferson City, MO; Rebecca & Shane Jones of Jefferson City, MO

Brother, Josh Kempker of Henley, MO

Fiancé Brittany Shikles and son, DeMyris of Russellville, MO

Also surviving are his former wife, Heather (Oday) Kempker and daughter, Kiera.

Grandparents, Bernadine Kempker of Jefferson City, MO, Jeannie & Bill Coleman of Lakeland, FL, and Wayne Morris of AL

Preceding him in death were his mother, Debra Jean Kempker, a sister, Rachel Purdy and grandfather, Anton “Tony” Kempker.

Jeremy attended Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Mary’s Home, MO. He completed Collision Repair Training at Tri-County Tech School and then completed training as a police officer with the Columbia Police Academy. He was currently employed with Harvey Kempker Trucking Company in Jefferson City, MO.

Visitation will be Wednesday April 18, 2012 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Mary’s Home, MO with a Memorial Mass beginning at 11:00 AM also at the church with Rev. Patrick J. Shortt officiating.

Jeremy’s wishes were to be cremated and laid to rest next to his mother where she is buried in Florida.
