Biography

Howard Schroeder, 83 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Wednesday evening April 18, 2012 at his home in Eldon, Missouri. On February 14, 1929 he was born in Higginsville, Missouri, the son of the late George W. and Anna Katherine (Kellerman) Schroeder. On September 12, 1952 he was united in marriage to Eva J. (Anno) Schroeder who survives of the home.

His parents and one brother preceded him in death.

Howard served in the United States Army. He taught Industrial Arts and served as principal for sixteen years at School of the Osage and then seventeen years in Eldon before his retirement. He was a very active member of Bethany Lutheran Church of Eldon, MO since 1955.

Visitation will be on Saturday April 21, 2012 from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at Bethany Lutheran Church with the Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 PM with Pastor Martin Hoyer officiating. Interment will follow at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, MO.
